This prevented customers from leaving the website and significantly reduced the number of complaint cases opened with the customer support department. Junifia had to modernize and redesign the entire existing infrastructure by implementing best DevOps practices. Our engineering teams followed best practices for data management between Google Cloud and Shopify to improve data integrity via webhooks. This Shopify-Google Cloud integration optimized performance. We used the Pub/Sub service to quickly synchronize Omy's customer data to Google Cloud. Junifia also migrated the Django backend to Docker and deployed it on Cloud Run, thus adopting a serverless architecture. Junifia's experts implemented site reliability engineering processes for the e-commerce site by establishing SLO metrics and monitoring them through alerts sent to its specialized Google Cloud team.

Omy experienced outages every Black Friday. This year, after migrating to Google Cloud, no outages occurred during Black Friday, demonstrating excellent management of e-commerce traffic spikes. Omy's customer service team had the calmest Black Friday to date since the company's inception. Additionally, Junifia provides Google Cloud disaster recovery solutions with Cloud SQL High Availability systems.
